Privacy Policy

Your account. Your name, email address, timezone and the teams you coach.

Competition data. Fixtures, results, ladders and player statistics for the competitions your teams play in, sourced from publicly available competition records. This includes player names and basic game statistics.

What you create. Game notes, awards, season goals, scouting reports, match summaries and the reactions supporters leave on shared game pages.

Technical basics. Cookies that keep you signed in. We do not use advertising trackers.

Most competition data relates to players under 18. It comes from publicly published competition records and from what you record as their coach. We use it for one purpose: giving the team's coach useful coaching insights. It is never used for advertising or profiling.

Coach-private content such as notes, awards and scouting reports is visible only to the coach who created it. Shared game pages show scores and game statistics only, and each supporter sees only their own reactions.

When you generate a match summary, scouting report or season insight, the relevant game statistics and your notes are sent to Anthropic (the maker of the Claude AI model) to write it. This happens through their API and the data is not used to train AI models.

To run the app, to generate the content you ask for, to send sign-in codes and occasional reminder emails (you can opt out with one tap), and to improve the product. We never sell personal information.

Your data is stored with Supabase in Sydney, Australia, and the app is served from Sydney by Vercel. Two steps involve overseas providers: AI generation is processed by Anthropic in the United States, and emails are delivered by Resend in the United States. In each case we send only what is needed for that task, and these providers are bound by their own privacy commitments.

For as long as your account is active. If you ask us to delete your account, we delete the personal information associated with it. We keep minimal email-send records so we never send you the same reminder twice.

You can ask us to access, correct or delete your personal information at any time by emailing privacy@sidelineiq.com.au. Every reminder email includes an unsubscribe link that works in one tap. If you are not happy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.

All data is encrypted in transit. Private content is scoped to the coach who created it, and public pages are limited to what is safe to share.

If we change this policy we will update this page, and we will flag any significant change in the app or by email.
